SCOOTER СКАЗАЛ ЯПОНИИ: "ДАВАЙ!"
 Немецкие шаманы техно-хардкора SCOOTER номинированы на премию "Echo 2004 Music Awards" (немецкий аналог Грэмми) как "лучший танцевальный проект". Церемония "Echo Award" пройдет в Германии 6 марта. А тем временем трио продолжает покорять мировые дэнс-чарты со своим последним мегахитом "Jigga Jigga!". В частности, российские тоже: в хит-параде "Динамит FM" трек уже несколько недель входит в десятку лучших. Между прочим, девичий вокал в этой милой песенке принадлежит жене одного из участников SCOOTER Рика Джордана. Девушка по имени Никк уже сотрудничала с группой ранее - её голос можно услышать на хит-сингле 2002 г. "Nessaja". В забойный ритм "Джиги" чувственный вокал Никк привносит расслабляющего контраста, давая возможность перевести дух в жестком "рубилове" на танцполе. Спасибо, Никк, за женскую ласку!
 К радости российских поклонников, сингл "Jigga Jigga" выпущен компанией "Танцевальный Рай" и уже поступил в музыкальные магазины. Помимо нескольких версий заглавной композиции, в сингл включен трек под названием "Shinjuku". Тема про Синдзюку, квартал японской столицы Токио, возникла вовсе не случайно - ведь клип на песню "Jigga Jigga!" снимался во время турне SCOOTER по Японии. В ближайшие дни это видео появится на российских музыкальных телеканалах - готовьтесь! В нём есть всё, чтобы не отрываться от экрана ни на миг. В беспрерывном движении кадров сменяют друг друга индустриальные пейзажи ночного мегаполиса, эпизоды захватывающей японской борьбы и, конечно же, эффектные концертные съемки SCOOTER - легендарное трио рубится на сцене в полный рост, и целый стадион разгоряченных японок ловит каждый жест своих кумиров. Кроме того, в клипе снова поднимается фирменная "рыбная" тема SCOOTER. Так и не выяснив, хау всё-таки мач из зе фиш, немецкие техно-гиганты отправили искать ответ на этот вопрос юную японку, и пошла она бродить по городу с огромной печальной рыбиной на руках. Под занавес клипа блондинистый техно-терминатор H.P.Baxxter зазывно кричит японской аудитории русское "Давай-давай-давай!!!", доводя поклонниц до полного исступления. В общем, при просмотре "Jigga Jigga!" особо впечатлительным зрителям лучше держаться за кресло обеими руками, дабы буря эмоций не унесла их в неизвестном направлении :)

From latest interview [review by Britt]:
 In the beginning they ask them about Grand Prix and why they are this time there.
 Rick say that VIVA have asked them, first they was not so sure about to be there, but then they have seen it have changed this year and so they would do it. They are a bit successful in many other Grand Prix countries so it were not a bad chance if they would win in Germany. They take Jigga Jigga as song.
 Then they speak about the right/law if they take parts from other songs and how it is then with the money.
They say it was from the beginning and normal by Techno to take parts from other songs in it. So it is not something special only from Scooter.
 Then it start with all this synthesizer aso, which are good with which they have gegun aso. That Rick is working there with logic.
 In the end they speak that by Scooter the voicals from H.P. are very importend that H.P. was from the beginning singer by CTN.
In the beginning from Rave they was living in Hannover, there was many UK soldiers. So they see it is normal that a DJ have an MC and also many Techno bands have had it.
 This was their inspiration, they did not know that nobody in German know about this. If there are in songs singing which sounds like the crowd it is not from concert it is pruduced in studio. Jay and Rick are working in different studios, but they are going often to the other and speak with him, H.P. is no practical musicer he have more the idea and is writing the lyrics. But he is there by the production.
 Rick have at home a "Bosendorfer" this is a very good piano.
 It was all time his dream, now it is his "Ferrari". He have no driver licence.
 Jay as DJ know the scene and so he know how the club version must be.
 They speak then short about the Ratty project and some other promos without the name Scooter for the DJ's. And the Raveline, you know the story.
 They speak then that they make music not only for money like Dieter Bohlen. They like the music.
Rick have thought themself about this, because many say they make it only for money and are commercial. He mean if someone play as musicer he will play for many people and be successful, this have nothing to do only with money. But if someone say he make the music only for himself this is nonsense.
Sven Vath is making more his own thing, but he also was standing by the Love Parade with the arms above, he also will stand in front.
 In the beginning many DJ's don't like them and say if Scooter are coming they are not going there. But now it is better with other DJ's.
He cna understand this a bit because Scooter themself don't have a real DJ past. They was making first New Wave. As Hyper Hyper was at place 2 the people thought they was a casting band and Dieter Bohlen was standing behind this.
 They have now their own Label Sheffield Tunes by Kontor records, so they can make what they want. After Hyper Hyper the record company say to them they should count in the next song instead of DJ names city names. But they would not do it and make Move Your Ass.
 They ask then who have sung the HPV, he said by Ramp and Posse he was it himself, by Jigga Jigga it was his wife and she will stand by Grand Prix on stage.

 Rick J. Jordan wrote in diary @ official site: We came up with the surprise we had promised. Nikk, our 'resident - singer' and my wife, came up on stage and sang her vocal part of 'Jigga Jigga!' live into the mic. She will also support us on the European Song Contest 'Grand Prix'. Nikk usually performs with us only in the studio, so we wanted to test how it works out live on stage with us.

Scooter, too, make a return visit. The three Hamburg-based techno artists cannot be accused of not progressing music-wise. Every new single has a new sample around the usual shouting... The latest example is "Jigga, Jigga", new at No. 45. Maybe soon just a common phrase like "Hyper, Hyper!"? Of an act with a ten-year history in techno music I expect everything. So far they have amassed 24 chart singles and thanks to this debut 21 top 50 hits. Good enough for rank ten in this category in the Media Control era. Looks like they have misunderstood something about the 'ten'th anniversary...
