Ferris Bueller (ex-Scooter member) gave special interview for russian fans. My site collecting questions during some days. Then Ferris answer to this small interview... 1. What do you prefer more - writing music for yourself or to producing someone? The fun and the work in the studio is the same in both cases. But when I perform my own stuff live I get the drinks for free... :) 2. Have you listen some russian music artists last time & what do you think about them? To be honest: no. Send me some! 3. Can you give adviñe for russian music artists (not only for beginners) about self-realization & success in creativity? Don't be afraid to try out even the crazyest ideas and don't limitate yourself. Always have a look beyond the style you usually do... 4. Are you interested in cooperation with some young artists. i.e. from foreign countries (Russia, Ukraine)? See answer #2. Best results come through coops! 5. When do you meet Kai Zepmeisel? We met on a party and started to talk about music and quickly found out that we have the same opinion about music and the music biz and a very simular taste. 6. Some time ago you had wroten at your site that you will visit Russia. Do you still plan it? I love the country and the people because everyone keept his enthusiasm and optimism also in difficult times. So: yes. 7. In latest remix you start to create more hard music (closer to hardstyle). Your music tastes are changed to more harder styles? I just love to try everything. Pop, Rock, Dance, Techno in hard or soft styles. So sometimes you do a really weak pop ballad and everybody thinks you are mad now... :) Beside our Pop and Dance productions it's always a big fun to experiment with harder stuff and when it comes to a new Ferris release it won't be a soft track! 8. Do you like happy hardcore style? Could it be popular in Germany again? Personally I still love it and the way this music creates good vibes. But to avoid that the Techno-scene ends like yesterday - Rock people in celebrating "Revival Partys" we also have to beopen for new things and develop the music we love further. But to answer your question: I guess it could be with a fresh sound! 9. Are you married? No :) 10. Will we see your dance at the scene again? First I will start with jogging again... :) 11. What is your favorite instrumental track you've made with Rick J.Jordan? Hard to assess own production work... I always liked that b-sides thing, as we all did. I think "Rhapsody In E" and "Cosmos" are very good tracks. 12. Do you communicate with Scooter present members? Sorry to tell you: no 13. What are you think about making "best remix"-contest on www-site for your track? Good idea! 14. What are you doing right now? Sweating in the studio, buying tons of mineral water and preparing the promotion for the summer releases. 15. When you will release a new single? A Ferris-single? Let's see... 16. Do you think about Ferris album :) ? Always depends on a successful single. 17. What are you planning for the future? "...And The Beat Goes On!" 18. Do you know Axel Coon before he replaced you in group? Not really. These says when he started to work in the Scooter studio I've already been less often there. We phoned for the first time on the day he also left the band and became friends. 19. Who gave idea of creating Fragrance project with Axel & you together? Both. 20. Will you make more releases with Fragrance or Axel Coon? Conc. Fragrance: there were major problems with that company. Axel: yes. Но когда я делаю что-то для самого себя, то на выступлении получаю выпивку нахаляву :) 2. Слушаешь ли ты кого-нибудь из русских исполнителей и что ты думаешь о них? Если честно, то нет. Пришли мне чего-нибудь :) 3. Можешь ли ты что-нибудь посоветовать русским исполнителям (не только новичкам) для самореализации, достижения успеха в творчестве? Не бойтесть пробовать реализовать даже самые сумасбродные идеи и не ограничивайте себя. Всегда глядите за грани стиля, в котором вы обычно работаете... 4. Нет ли у тебя желания в сотрудничестве с молодыми артистами из разных стран (Россия, Украина)? См. ответ N2. Лучшие результаты получаются в совместных работах. 5. Когда ты встретишься с Kai Zepmeisel? Мы встретились на пати и начали говорить о музыке и быстро обнаружили, что мы имеем одинаковые взгляды на музыку и музыкальный бизнес, и очень похожие музыкальные вкусы. 6. На своем сайте ты писал, что собираешься приехать в Россию. Идея еще жива? Я люблю вашу страну и людей, потому что каждый сохраняет энтузиазм и оптимизм в трудное время. Поэтому - да! 7. В последнем ремиксе ты ушёл в более тяжелый стиль музыки (близкий к hardstyle). Твоя музыка теперь будет более тяжёлой? Я просто люблю попробовать всё. Поп, рок, танцевальная музыка, техно, в тяжёлых и лёгких вариантах. Поэтому иногда ты делаешь настоящую медленную поп-балладу и все думают, что ты свихнулся... :) Помимо наших попсовых и танцевальных работ всегда доставляет большое удовольствие поэкспериментировать с более тяжёлыми стилями и поэтому когда это войдет в новый релиз от Ферриса, то не ждите лёгкого трека! 8. Нравится ли тебе музыка в стиле Happy Hardcore? Будет ли она снова популярна в Германии? Лично я до сих пор люблю этот стиль и то, как эта музыка заставляет хорошо колбаситься. Но чтобы Техно-сцена не умерла, зажигая публику на revival-"пати" мы также должны быть открытыми и готовыми для новых вещей, и развивать музыку которую мы любим. Конретно ответ на вопрос: Я думаю что возвращение возможно с обновлённым саундом. 9. Ты женат? Нет :) 10. Сможем ли мы снова увидеть твой фирменный танец? Перед этим мне надо заняться бегом по утрам :) 11. Какой твой любимый инструментальный трек, который вы написали с Риком? Трудно оценивать собственную работу. Мне всегда нравились би-сайды, которые мы все делали. Я считаю очень классными треками "Rhapsody In E" и "Cosmos". 12. Общаешься ли ты с членами группы Scooter? К сожалению - нет. 13. Что ты думаешь о проведении интернет конкурса на "лучшй ремикс" твоих треков? Хорошая идея! 14. Чем ты сейчас занимаешься? Работаю до упада в студии, покупаю тоны минеральной воды и готовлю промоушн для летних релизов. 15. Когда ты выпустишь новый сингл? Ferris-сингл? Посмотрим... 16. Interview with Scooter at kidsplanet.nl:  When did you know you wnated to be a musician? "When I was 15 years I think, I was in school band and played the guitar, at a certain moment, I just couldn't stop! I had to be a musician. "  What is your best memory with Scooter? "I think about the early days with Scooter, when we conquered the world with Hyper Hyper. When we made that song, we never exspected it to become such a huge hit. Ever since it's become a challange for us to mkae songs which are well received everywhere. "  Which crowd do you like the most? "That's a hard one, we did so many shows, all around the world. Last year we played in Namibia, which was awesome. But also our performance in Kiev was unforgettable. And in Finland...I can't name a very special one."  Would you like to be a woman for one day? "Haha, what a question, Well to be honest, I've never thought of it before, but I think it'd be weird. "  Which other hobby's do you have besides music? "I'm totally carzy about old, classic cars. That's my great passion besides music. And for the other Scooter members: Rick is cazry about keyboards and technical stuff and Jay is a mobile freak. All the gadget;s which apear in that area; he's just gotta have them right-away."  How was it to perform at the TMF Awards? "It was a very great sensational show. We enjoyed it very much. Interview with Scooter in the hotel, before their concert in Budapest by Hank & -SP-  [Thanx to Imre Vincze]  Have you ever thought about a great trance DJ/Band making a remix for you? (Cosmic Gate, Blank & Jones…) Rick: Well, we already had a few really well known DJs who made remixes for us... like the english Flip&Fill, or at Shake That CJ Stone and Steve Murano... so, we don't know yet.  Many say that Rick and Jay has been pushed into the background recently. Why? H.P.: Pushed in the background? Rick: OK, that is because there is always this thing in the band- H.P.: I didn't notice that... but it would be nice. <laughing in studio> Rick: You know, if you got someone, to keep a group on the stage, you have to concentrate on him. But like in the beginning, the people didn't recognize Scooter as a band. Overall, it's a normal thing.  Many of your fans raised his / her voice against the fact that all tracks on Mind The Gap contains samples or melodies from other artists. They ask why don't you create 100% own tracks? Rick: Well, we are not a rock band. And techno and electronic music, especially our style was always been like a... "collage". H.P.: Yes, and it's in the tradition of the KLF, which was the first real techno act, that really worked like "puzzled", they connected the songs which are not usual to this kind of music, to techno music. And that was in the beginning, when we started, there was many track we liked, also from other artist such as Elvis Presley...  We often see Rick logged in on the Official Scooter Forum. Why don't you ever post? Rick: Well it's not like- H.P.: He's all the time on the forum, that's the reason why he never works! <laughing in studio> Rick: You see if you answer one question, you'll have to answer all, or people will be disappointed that you didn't answer for all, and we don't have much time to read everything what's going on in the Forum. You see we need inspiration time for new songs, some spare private time... so we don't have much time, but I'd answer if I had.  As for "All I Wanna Do", was it just a flashback to your old style, or do you have plans with happyhardcore? Since HHC is growing in England, and we all know H.P.'s hobby is England, do you have plans with returning to happyhardcore style, and what does it mean that the new album will contain hardcore elements, and that it will be much harder than Mind The Gap? Rick: Well it was just a kind of what we try to achieve, we don't have master plans with the style. The new album is in production... you can say we have to do it hard, but we may don't go that way to make it hard. I think it will be harder than the last one, but I still can't promise. H.P.: Cause there's not one song finished now. <laughing> Maybe we'll have 10 ballads on it!  Will you put Nikk's vocals into your tracks again in the future? Rick: This always depends on the song. If we find a melody that fits to her voice, we shall do it, or else we take the "Mickey Mouse" from myself.  Why don't you create the single B-sides longer, about 6 or 7 minutes, so they can be released on vinyl, like in the case of Suavemente/Trance Atlantic, so trance DJs could play them? Jay: That's because of the rules of the maximum lenght of Maxi CDs in Germany. You can't get over 21 minutes on the CD, otherwise it would be much more expensive. H.P.: Yeah we have a limit. But on vinyl... I think that's no limited. Jay: Vinyl is never a problem, but we never used to put the B-sides on the vinyl…  H.P., We heard that you are in very good friendship with Till Lindemann, the frontman of Rammstein. Have you thought about making a single together? H.P.: Ah, it's not that good friendship you know, we got to know him once during the PopCom, and also the other guys from Rammstein. They were very nice, we had a few drinks together. So far, not really... those things just happen sometimes, but everyone does his own stuff. So, you can never know but it's not planned really.  Are you planning tracks in the future where H.P.'s vocals are NOT distorted? H.P.: Yeah, OK it's not really distorted, only because of this microphone, whish has a special sound that fits the best I think. And if we have a track where we think it doesn't work, we will use the normal mic again. But so far it was always the best, and we were really happy when we found it a couple of years ago. We always wanted this sound, in the beginning we tried the regular megaphone, it didn't work... then we found this old mic from the 50s, and it was very good.  To Rick, after the show: On the Official Scooter Forum, most of the members gone angry on the release of Shake That! and Suavemente. They say this style doesn't fit Scooter. What's your opinion about this? Rick: Yes, I know. You know, it was only a kind of experiment. If we would do only such style tracks that the fans want, that would be commercial. We try not to be commercial. If we like something, we try to build it into our own style. I don't say that we love funky and latin styles that much, but it sounded good for us, so we used it. Of course, we would like to continue with our harder style in the future.

Ди джеям Blue Nature и Stacccato нравилась его работа с самого начала и они предложили ему присоединиться к их проетку Rumble как полноценного члена. Результатом их совместной работы стал новый релиз, вышедший на Mental Madness Records позавчера винил "Tricky Tricky". Вокал в треке исполнил небезызвестный MC Dick Rules, сотрудничавший с Marc Acardipane, Scooter, Starsplash.

Axel is well-known as former member of German dance sensation Scooter. He’s currently working on a solo career. Stacccato and Blue Nature liked Axel Coon and his work from the start and so they asked him to join Rumble as a full time member. Their cooperation lead to the new single “Tricky Tricky,” featuring the trademark voice of MC Dick Rules.

Danmaster: On Friday Jay Frog celebrated into his birthday in the Spot in Erfurt! He had a very cool set. Especially much of Scot Project! And then I did a long conversation with him! And got a lot of news! Here everything in the overview: - new Scooter single still comes out perhaps in the summer; it will be very surprising; - new album perhaps in the end of the year; it will be much harder; there will be a Spanish Song on it and much in the Schranz-style and Hardtrance Scot Project-style; - they are also planing the tour for the next year; - The band which will play before Scooter on the tour is not decided yet; - his favourite Scooter Singles are "Jigga Jigga!" and "Nessaja"; - his favourite track in general is Ron van the Beuken: "Timeless"; - he likes the album version from "Suavemente" more; - he is a big Scot Project fan (quotation: "He is my absolute Idol."); - he plans a remix for Scot Project Spot; - The Spot in Erfurt is one of his favourite discos; - He found the last tour with Starsplash very great ; - Master Blaster are very good friends of him (they were in the Spot a day later) [Thanx to Danmaster & Mutterkorn]

Вот что рассказал техник гр.Scooter: За несколько секунд до того, как НР отправился на сцену, его микрофон начал фонить. Я попросил человека за пультом узнать что случилось. Что он сделал, так это отсоединил микрофон НР в начале первой песни для того, чтобы заменить кабель. Я начал потихоньку сходить с ума, потому что можно делаль тысячу вещей, но никогда не отсоединять что-либо после того, как шоу уже началось. Вот почему вокала не было слышно.  Я кричал этому человеку чтобы он вернул все на место как это было, но он не послушал меня. Внезапно один канал моего плеера-накопителя пропал, затем каналы для эффектов поменялись местами, чувак присоединял и отсоединял провода как сумасшедший - я был очень близок к тому, чтобы стукнуть его, но не сделал этого.  Плюс к этому - нескоординированость техников, которые не могли меня понять, что они делают не так.  Конечно же, группа была огорчена [Thanx to Stas]

I'm right now from the concert & it is BIG SHAME to organizers!!!!  Microphone of H.P. hasn't work - he sang One & Shake That - but no one can heard it!!!  Then the crowd start to shout "MI-CRO-PHONE, MI-CRO-PHONE". After this microphone start to work but woks bad. Not full volume!!! -->Tracklist: One - nuked Shake That - nuked How Much Is The Fish Surfing Bird Maria One  I've hoped that they sing more songs & after end will come to the scene again like in concert
