Axel Coon sent me latest info about his new single "Third Base":  He will do the mastering of new track this week in his studio "Monitor one". The track will be released in the beginning of 2006 on Aqualoop records. It isn't coverversion & was not recorded with Pulsedriver :) Axel have done whole production like "Lamenting City" by himself & recorded track at own studio :-) He promised to send me a short sample in the next days.

Аксель Кун прислал мне последнюю информацию о своём новом сингле "Third Base":  Он сделает мастеринг трека в собственной студии "Monitor one" на этой неделе. Трек будет выпущен в начале 2006 года на Aqualoop records. Это не кавер-версия и не совместный продукт с Pulsedriver'ом :) Axel сделал всё сам, как и в случае с "Lamenting City". The year 2005 will end up with a really big bang! On December 23rd, the second single release of the album "Who's Got The Last Laugh Now?" will be in stores. Already the name provides a lot of surprises: "Apache Rocks The Bottom" will be the name of the new track.  Last Wednesday, the video for the new song was shot near Potsdam. The world premiere will take place next Friday at 3 p.m. on German music channel VIVA. So tune in - or do you want to miss a fight between Rick and Jay?!  Last Friday, Scooter performed "Apache Rocks The Bottom" on stage at the popular German TV-Show The Dome in Mannheim. Here's a list of the acts who took the most highest new entries honors with its singles (since January 1971 till October 2005): 19 - Scooter 19 - Madonna 18 - Depeche Mode 14 - Sweet 13 - Elton John 13 - Michael Jackson 13 - Backstreet Boys 12 - Phil Collins 11 - ABBA 10 - Smokie  But Madonna beats Scooter again last week - due to "hot shot debut" at #1 with "Hang Up". But Scooter have a chance to reach Madonna's 20 highest weekly new enteries again! Scooter played  "Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss" at the concert of Bloodhound Gang last week. They also presented "Apache Rocks the Bottom" there.  So, it is a mix between "Apache" & "Rock The Bottom". The sample of "Explode" has been replaced by the one of "Apache" & there's a totally new synth attack in it with a few more lyrics. No more "rotter rotter dam dam" & "dup dup dup".  DJ Aligator gave an interview at Channel PEN at 02.12 He Said that DJ Aligator & Scooter will make a shared work soon. May be it will be a track of Scooter remixed by DJ Aligator or duo. But Scooter is currently busy so this is planned for future.

На прошедшей неделе Scooter поучаствовали в исполнении песни  "Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss" на концерте Bloodhound Gang.Так же они представили там свой новый сингл "Apache Rocks the Bottom".  Он представляет собой микс "Apache" и "Rock The Bottom". Сэмпл из "Explode" заменён на сэмпл из "Apache" и присутствует новая мелодия с некоторыми новыми словами. Из песни убрали все "rotter rotter dam dam" и "dup dup dup".  2 декабря DJ Aligator дал интервью каналу PEN. где сказал что DJ Aligator и Scooter скоро сделают совемстную работу. Это будет либо трек от Scooter ремиксованный DJ Aligator, либо совместный трек. Но сейчас Scooter загружены работой, так что проект этот стоит ждать в недалёком будущем.

Scooter interview at TOTP [Thanx to Britt] TOTP: Why you have taken Hello as new song? H.P.: We have had in Summer a single ready but we was not so happy with this and have stopped it. We have had make vacation and then come the idea for this old Gary Glitter song. This have worked well we have had the verses ready and then tried the refrain. Rick: Before this vinyl was lying around 3 years in H.P. office. And I have seen it again and again, then we have played it and found it great. TOTP: Your video from Hello was recorded in Chicago. How was it for you? H.P. It was the first time ever that we have played in US. We was nervous. It was a big event in a very big hall and we thought if there is such a chance we also will record the video. We have recorded it live and haven taken some scenes in the city and in the striplocal, this wanted the director, we have had no interest to do this, but it was cool and a great experience. TOTP: What will you do the next weeks and month? H.P.: The album WGTLLN is ready and on this are cool things. We did not know what will be the next sinlge but we have 4 - 5 candidates (songs).. Then we will start in March the tour, it will be big. We have a complete new show new laser and Pyro and we play in bigger halls. It will be cool and we are looking forward to it. TOTP: What make a good single, from which you can say it is worth to release it. H.P.: First you must like to play it live and you must have a feeling that this will be running very well. We overwork a single before we taken it from the album, then we have had new ideas. Rick: We have on this album some experiments and one Hip Hop number. But there are many songs which are typical for Scooter. Because of this it is not easy to decide which will be the next single. TOTP: What is for you the difference between a live and a playback performance? H.P.: On the stage it must be live. By a tour I never would make a Miniplayback show. There it must be real "bang". With the vocals we must communicate with the crowd. And all what is possible on the keyboads from Rick and Jay we play live. There must also be some gummicks for the atmosphere. I must say in a TV studio it is not importend to play live. There are the pics importedn and that the sound is good. The time is short there and it is not easy that the crowd will take it like we want it. TOTP: What was your biggest adventure? H.P.: As I was young my vacation in Lloret De Mar with a VW. We have forgotten to take the poles for the tent. We have make the tent on the trees and was sleeping on the ground, in the mornign there was many ants. We have cooked with empty bean tins. Rick: I was in Kenia in vacation and was driving with a taxi. It was a bit weird it was a old Mercedes from 1956, Here it were forbidden to drive with this. The driver was waiting before the disco, he have had nothing other to do. TOTP: What have you make before you have make music? H.P.: I have break my Jurastudy and then I have learned industry businessman. Then I have worked normal in some companies. Later I was by a recordcompany and then I started as MC and today we all know what I am.. Rick: I am working 20 years together with H.P. I also have learned sound engineer and then we started with Scooter and I have say good bye to the boss.. Jay: I am young I was was Zivi and have learned industry businessman. Later I was going to a record company and then come the boys and it have started.

Axel Coon said me, that his new single "Third Base" isn't cover on his early track "3rd Bass". This is not & cover on anything & really powerfull!  New Scooter single planned to be released in 30.12.2005  In 2006 year will be a Scooter tour (Germany, Switzerland, Austria + concerts in Europe & USA)  Project "Hands on Scooter" planned - other artists will make covers on Scooter's hits. Аксель Кун сказал мне, что его новый сингл "Third Base" не является римейком его старого трека "3rd Bass". Это вообще не кавер на что-либо. А энергичный абсолютно "свой" трек!  Новый сингл Scooter планируется к выходу 30 декабря 2005 года.  В 2006 состоится тур (Германия, Швейцария, Австрия + концерты в Европе и в Америке).  Запланирован проект под названием Hands on Scooter - другие исполнители будут делать римейки песен Scooter. Одна из этих групп - Bloodhound Gang.  Scooter в свою очередь так же сделали ремикс на новый сингл Bloodhound Gang "Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss"

At Dance Planet festival I have small talk with Pulsedriver. He said that Axel Coon "Third Base" will be recorded on vinyl in Aqualoop studio during next 2 weeks! Pulsedriver gonna be remix it. And another thing... New single is the super !!! ;-)

На Dance Planet'е как обычно пообщался с Pulsedriver'ом. Он сказал, что даже промо-винил Акселя Куна "Third Base" ещё не существует. Он будет записан в студии в течение 2х недель. Pulsedriver собирается сделать ремикс на него и пару раз сказал что этот трек - просто супер!

Britt: at VIVA show Scooter said that this time they have 5 songs which are good for a new single. In the moment they are not sure which they will take. They have also said after the tour they make gigs in different countries, but not so many like in Germany then the tour would take a whole year. The must answer on some questions but it was not about Scooter, it was fun but silly shit. They have had premier from some some clips and Scooter must say if they are good and can be maybe in Top 10. They have speaken about the clip recording in Chicago with the girls, they ahve said it was only fun nothing real. The show is not so great like in the past, no live performance.
